Little Giants Creative is a Sydney ad agency newly created with some serious talent. The hardest thing about dealing with this type of client is just how good their works are and how do you do that justice in the display side of a website.With clients such as Thrifty, Telstra, Olympus and Toyota and others – we needed this to look clean and professional.

We decided to work with WordPress in this instance to help with the management of their portfolios. We fins that we can recode elements in a wordpress site to move around any flexibility issues and really display TV commercials, Print Advertising and Radio all in the one portfolio, even though the use of different platforms are needed to present the works.

Spin Jet Travel

A quick little site coded up to allow the owners of this site to pitch the travel app to potential clients. The design was presented by the agency and then coding and styling elements finalised internally. The trick here was to use a system that would randomly generate a background image that did not use PHP. The reason for this was that the main scripts needed for allowing access to register and sign in to the site were not compatible. The solution was some nifty little jquery and JavaScript code to ensure the site looks gorgeous and is actually function-able. It was also important for the client to be able to track the registers and also who had logged into the system for a preview.

Woollam Constructions

Created to showcase the large number of projects that Woollam Constructions has carried out through various regions of Australia. Woollam management needed to be able to allow staff full ability to update and edit content including adding pages, images and deleting content while ensuring that the structure for photo galleries and PDF downloads were not compromised.

Noosa Longboards

Noosa Longboards is an icon in the surfers town of Noosa Heads in Queensland. Recently they have performed a massive remodeling to their bricks and mortar store, turning it into a classic collection of everything surfing and then some.

Needless to say we will need to also remodel their online store to match the look and classic feel, all the while keeping the clean and simplistic design/useability features needed for an ecommerce shop to succeed. At the time of updating this post we are yet to embark on that. The primary focus at the moment is to assist in the building of their iconic brand online. So along with a social strategy to ensure we engage and provide useful information to our fans, we are also putting into place a robust analytics system to ensure we understand the reach and pitfalls for each campaign launched via the social platforms.

New Oaks Real Estate Website

White Space Media are pleased to announce the launch of our latest web design project. Over the past weeks the team here at White Space Media have been working closely with the Sales and Permanent Rentals team at The Oaks Group to redevelop their real estate portal.

Formerly hosted on a Windows platform, we have migrated their official website onto a Linux environment and supported by a WordPress CMS. This is the second launch of a real estate website using WordPress we have delivered in recent months. After last month’s successful relaunch of the Zinc Noosa holiday accommodation and real estate website.

It is commonly thought that the WordPress content management system is a bloggging tool. This is no longer the case. WordPress has been heavily redeveloped over the past year and can now offer all the features and functions to compete with any of the web’s leading open-source content management systems. WordPress is backed by an impressive and talented community of developers which mean that the showcase of WordPress plugins (or extensions) is massive. Marrying WordPress’s expertise in the area of blogging and SEO with their development community means that agencies like ourselves have a solid and extensible platform to build a variety of different functional websites.

The new Oaks Real Estate and Permanent Rentals website is live now and portfolios all of their impressive apartments and building complexes in and around Brisbane.

An exciting new project has seen White Space Media team up with the people at Babo Living to create a clean, crisp website to portfolio their range of contemporary outdoor furniture and lighting products. These beautiful and modern products needed a website to match. Tony Fyfe, managing director at Babo Living, sourced the services of White Space Media from a variety of different web designers on the Sunshine Coast. The focus of the brief was to present their products in the best possible way and to marry this with a sophisticated e-commerce platform with an emphasis on usability. With assistance from Adobe Business Catalyst, WSM have were able to deliver on the brief.

Our Job: Working with Raspberry Frog and Kapow Pictures to develop the website, ecommerce and media areas for Pickle Circus. This site is a beautiful mix of flash, html, ajax and javascript.

Our next area of assistance here is in cross promotion and marketing in the online environment. Google Adwords are established early in a site like this to push instant sales through the site while the search engine optimisation takes place.
